Default Lowrance LWX-1 compatibility

Can anyone confirm that the discontinued SiriusXM/weather Module LWX-1 will work with a Lowrance HDS Gen 3?
Thanks

The LWX-1 though replaced by the WM-3, works excellent with the Gen3's.

Thanks!!!

My friend has one for sale and it's a heck of a lot cheaper than getting the new one at $700.
