Thumbs up Chamberlain / Ft Thompson - Missouri River

Has anyone been out here lately that can provide a decent report? We're heading out that direction on Friday so any info would be greatly appreciated.

We've done well jiggin the dam a time or two in years past, so that's probably how we'll start. Then if that doesn't work, we'll probably move on downstream (barring any ice) jigging rocky shoreline points. Beyond that, I suppose we could just drift live bait or slowly pull leadcore, but I think its pretty late in the year for either of those presentations so we'd really just be grasping at straws. I'm hoping it doesn't get to that point.

Thanks in advance for any advice or reports!

Any reports back from your trip?

Water conditions, ramp conditions? fishing success.
If the weather was anything there, like it was here Friday, it shouldve been a beautiful day, even if the fish didnt cooperate.

Smile Chamberlain last week

I went by on the way back from the BHills ---and there were a dozen boats fishing close to the bridge at Chamberlain--it was about 25 degrees air temp---so I'd guess something was biting ....
