better call your elected officials now!the big freighters tied in all boats to be included in ballast water issues

Doesn't that just make you wonder about our elected officials??
who ever thought ballast ships should be regulated different than pleasure or fishing boats. They we have to fight for common sense.

its between 300 and 800 a year for a annual permit starting in sept.2008 each state you fish from you will be required to have a additional permit from that state also to fish erie .big time bummer like everything else isnt enough with boating how many more freaking permits. stickers .ect. gas tax .can we endure .its just unreal its going to cost you as much for this permit as you pay for your dock for the season its already passed the courts just needs approval from the senate
