Default stereo in a 2004 alumacraft

Trying to put a stereo( Boss stereo brand) in a 2004 alumacraft navigator. its only three wires. I changed fuse and still no power. The previous owner said he had a radio in the boat. Any suggestions

Check the fuse in the fuse box along with any that are inline on your power wire. That or run new wires to the fuse box.

just use any DC tester or just use one that has a light at the end that shines if you're getting power. you can buy these at almost every auto parts store for around 5.00 or less. test the wires going to your radio to see if you have power going to the radio.

if it is connected to a fuse block make sure that one has a fuse in it and see if it is blown.

another thing so many people overlook is the ground. make sure it is grounded.

if you do all the things listed above you should find your problem.
