Trollingeyes, We look forward to your call.

Thanks Gary for the kind words I do appreciate it.
Just a FYI, the Lake Gogebic Chapter of Walleyes For Tomorrow will be doing some rock reef projects on the lake this year. We will also be doing some stocking of the Spot Tail shiners. We were awarded the funding request of $11,000.00 to do these project by WFT Inc.
Our annual banquet is going to be held on April 28 this year if anyone is interested in attending you can contact me for information. 906.575.3542

Thanks,

Tim

Thanks Gary,
I think the perch spawning habitat project went well too. We picked Three locations on the lake last winter and dropped fresh cut balsam trees through the ice weighted down with rock keeping them in a vertical position. We monitored our work with underwater camera equipment and have evidence that perch spawned on all three location. We have permitting to do this for 4 more years from the Michigan DNR.

During the summer months people around the lake observed more schools of Young Of The Year Perch then what they had for the past several years. I'm not saying that it is all due to the the project that we started but I do think it was a contributing factor along with several other factors.

So far this Ice Fishing Season I have not caught a sub-legal walleye yet this year, and they have good fat on them.

Take care Gary,

Tim
