Default Lowrance Pro Team Big Stone prefishing results?

Anyone have insight or updates regarding how prefishing was for the Lowrance Pro Team Big Stone Lake event? I was out Saturday with a pro buddy pulling cranks and doing a little jigging; pretty slow i.e. white bass and sheepshead cooperated but that's about it.
Thanks!

I just heard from Billy's wife, Kari, and she said that prefishing was very spotty. Some guys limiting (or claiming to) and other guys getting 2 fish over 4 days. The leaderboard will be on www.westernwalleye.com this afternoon.

Fished the tourney. The bite was extremely tough. In pre-fishing we heard about the tough bite and started working smaller cranks behind leadcore. We tried #4 jointed shads and caught a few fish on them. Also, #5 shads worked some. The lake had a pretty good algea bloom going so we had to put a split shot above the crank a ways. We then tried to go even smaller using Salmo Hornets. These worked great. The action of the hornets did a great job of keeping the algea from building up. Each day we used the hornets it appeared we were busier than the rest of the fisherman. We caught a ton of sheephead and white bass. We also caught 4-8 nice perch each day. While the walleyes were slower, we would catch quite a few each day. Unfortunately, most were from 5" to 13". The best hornets were the black with gold spots, crawdad, and the gold with black back.

Fished the tourney as well. Mostly trolled cranks. Tough bite. We were done after two days and never caught a walleye. Bulk sheephead and white bass though.

Tough bite is right. Only caught 8 walleye in 7 days, WOW! We pulled cranks too and pumped our rods all day to catch one walleye day 1 and 2 walleye on day 3. Lots of work, but we got a check for 3rd place.

Man was that ever tough. Then that husband/wife team brought in 5 on the last day. I was starting to think there wasn't 5 walleyes in the whole lake.
