Default THE CORRECT LINE TO USE ?

I GO TO CANADA EVERY YEAR WALLEYE FISHING ....IM HEAR SO MUCH ABOUT DIFFERANT LINE TO USE. WHAT IS THE BEST FOR TROLLING AND DRIFF FISHING /VERTICAL JIGGING.

I NORMALLY USE A BAIT CASTER FOR TROLLING AND A SPINCAST FOR DRIFF AND JIG FISHING...ANY SUGGESTIONS?

It is kinda like cars... everyone likes and feels comfortable with something different.

I like trilene XT. 6lb for jigging, 10lb for trolling.

Many folks use a good grade 8 lb test line.
Often, if you use 6 lb line - you end up with problems in line breakage due to rock abrasion etc. Many folks also find that the 6 lb line stretches too much.

I use 10lb Spiderwire for trolling, but you have to get used to it. The reels need good drags set rather loose. I use 10lb Spiderwire for vertical jigging, and pitching jigs. I use 8lb Trilene XL for rigging. If you can use a sweep set on hook sets, then mono is great, if not, I use Spiderwire Fusion.
