The walleye fishing on Ft. Peck has been good in the Big Dry arm upper end and the walleyes are still pre-spawn. A lot of smaller males with some big girls mixed in. Mostly jigs and minnows in shallow water. The dam area and Duck cr. are producing quite a few walleyes also. The saugers are a little deeper, with most caght in the 20 foot zone. Walleyes in the **** cr. area have been slow. Most of the fish are up in the upper end of the Big Dry arm and the upper reaches of the main lake and in the river to spawn. The Lake trout fishing is real hot and we are also catching a few salmon and northerns. The water temps. are from 40-42 degrees. A lot of the lakers are in 15-35 feet of water and trolling deep diving cranks works best.Check for updates at http://ifishfortpeck.com
