Default will be changing insurance

Just wanted to say that I will be moving my insurance for the boat over to Bob but have to wait till end of May as my current insurance does boats on what is called a "short bases" which means if I cancel early they keep all my money for the coverage that is unused.Talked with agent then corporate and both confirmed this.So since I am paid in full till June 3rd I will wait then cancel and get with Bob to get my new policy started.I talked with my current agent and after he ran some numbers and looking at the quote he agreed I would be better off with the new insurance plan and said he just can't compete with it.Will be getting much more coverage for less money.Would love to change now but not about to give Allstate free money from a early cancel. You may want to look at your coverage then give Bob a call for a quote and see how it compares up.
