I'm not talking anything like that. Small time, nothing more.

Are you building everything yourself?

Yes, thank you. Starts out as partially planed lumber.

Keep it fun, other wise it's not much of a hobby or a way to spend your retirement. imho

I Love working with wood. Not great at it but I get buy. 10 years ago I built a 16' jon boat....wife told me I'd never get it done....a month later we had another boat! BTW don't ever build a wooden jon boat that big too hard to move around! Anyhow when my son was born I build a baby cradle that is a boat and it swings from a stand with "ship yard" looking pullies and such. We had step by step pictures my wife put online and people she knew asked about me building them for kids and grandchildren. $1000. No takers. I literally had 50-100 hours in this thing and a few hundred in materials....mostly brass hardware. I was OK with that.

Just a month ago wife wanted a "farmhouse" table. Local builder that had an ad stood us up twice. The he11 with him. I built it in about 15-20 hours and she loves it. Again lots of people "love it". I offered to build them....quoted people $700-1000 with 2 benches...depending on the legs, stain, and mostly as wife had to have spindle legs which are pricey! Again no takers.

Bottom line...build 1 thing you think people will like and put it on Craigslist....see what happens. Lots of people will "say" they'd buy one or really would love "that" but never actually will or would buy it.
