If lund and crestliner are totally out for next year, which I am not for sure or not, the turnouts of the rcl is going to go downhill. How many walleye pros are actually running skeeter, champion, and stratos. A few, but not a whole lot. Seems kinda weird that flw would get rid of lund and crestliner, and why wouldnt the company want to be one of the main sponsors, I mean nothing like major advertising have these pros use their boats in these major tourneys.

Let's hear from Lund and Crestliner about this. What happened to just being honest? I was going to buy a new Lund this year, but I'm going to wait a year to see what happens...I don't think I'm the only one that has put off buying a new boat until we get some rock- solid news...The dealer I'm working with said he's not sure what is going to happen. I would bet the dealers would like to know, so they can start selling new boats!

Mr Merc calls the shots for Lund and Crestliner, don't blame the FLW if they fade away from the front page.

Sonny Reynolds told the entrants to the RCL League Winnebago Tournament that FLW has contracts - individually - with Crestliner and Lund, and doesn't expect anything to change.

But did add a caveat pertaining to "The Corporate Shuffle".

Yamaha is a major sponsor of the RCL so no suprise there. Skeeter got out of B.A.S.S. so the million + they where spending there must have grabbed the FLW's attention. Skeeter is also a major Sponsor of the GNWC so they are definatley marketing to the Walleye crowd. They also build one of the best boats in the freshwater fishing industry... As far as Crestliner and Lund I don't see many changes except that they'll be alot more black motors hanging on their transoms. It will be intersting to see who and how many Pro's change boat brands in the next year....

From what I've been told I've ordered a new Crestliner for next year with plans to fish the RCL Tour. Nothing is going to change other than there will be few more boat companies involved.

Good Luck and Good Fishing.
