Hit Nd on the opener and about five days beyond, some of the old spots were not as good as usual and in the places up north where they are growing all the corn for ethanol not surprising, bird numbers were awesome. We've been doing well in WA state this year as well, alot of folks go out for the opener here and then you never see them again. We doubled down and are going to SD next year, hunting pheasants and catching walleye never gets old no matter how many times you do it.

Double barrels all the way. There isn't another type up upland shotgun if you ask me.

Winchester Model 23 (light duck) 20 ga when I am feeling adventurous.
Ruger Red Label 12 ga for heavy work.

Of course I come from a family of "traditional" shooters. Shotguns and muzzle loaders.

In the pic below you can see my Bro carrying one of my Ruger Red Labels. My dad with his AYA and me with my Winchester Model 23 Light Duck.

"Traditional shooters"

lol whats that suppose to mean? Are you English Wade?

I like the traditional guns Wade don't get me wrong but I also like my Benelli Ultra Light. That way I can limit out and not have to stop and reload.
