Default Find Counterparts For Cabelas NWT Sign Up Here Please

Please use this thread to find counterparts for the Cabelas NWT events for 2013. That way we don't have a gazillion new threads on the same subject. Thanks!

Q:Can I guarantee my entry into events?

A: Yes, a pro angler can sign up and pay an entry fee and give a name of a co angler (co angler has to fish same event) at time of registration. If co angler also signs up and pays entry fee, then both will be guaranteed entry into that event. Co anglers will also need to list a pro angler at time of registration. This can be done on a per tournament basis or for all three regular season events. Keep in mind that both pro angler and co angler must fish event to be guaranteed.

I'm in search of a pro who would be willing to list me as a co-angler. If the dates don't change, I'll miss the Red Wing but will make the last 3. THanks..Justin

Thumbs up Pro Needed For All Events

I am looking for a pro to sign up with for all events. We can sign up and pay for all 3 at once or sign up and pay for 1 at a time. Makes more sense to me to do 1 at a time rather then letting them hold my money all year, and there is no cap on # of boats and the rules state you are guaranteed entry if a pro & co sign up together. But I will do either. You can contact me at rdheuss@gmail.com
Below is copied from the Rules & FAQ's on NWT website:

Default Lake Erie NWT

I would like to fish the Lake Erie event as a Co-Angler. I am not able to fish the rest of the events this year (going Moose Hunting in October and that will use up most of my vacation). I fish out of Huron every fishable weekend from May on and a few before May. Please PM me if you are looking for a partner.

Thanks

There is a slight risk of not getting into a tournament if you don't sign up with a co for all three in advance. That would be if the 150 boat max for whatever waters limit it to 150.

Will the events be capped? At the present time there is not a boat limit for the NWT. However, in order to receive a tournament license some venues/permits will require a number of boats/participants. In these circumstances the field will be 150 boats or 300 participants. Also, NWT will fish as many boats that there are a pro and co angler for. In other words, as long as there is a paid pro and co they will fish unless over the participation requirements set by venue/permit.

Default sign up partner

I am looking for a pro to sign up for all events with. I would rather do it all at once but will do one at a time if you choose.

Am I safe to assume you do not need to sign up for all 4 at this time?
