Default Late Fall Devils Lake From Shore

Ill be in Devils Lake the entire last week of October. I was wondering if anyone can hook me up with some good places to shore fish the evenings after my meetings. Will be staying at SL Casino and Resort so close to there would be a bonus. Thanks in Advance.

I would hit the bridges for sure. There are two of them just north of the casino.

Default Bridges

Agree with the above reply about bridges. Try both Highway 57 and Highway 20 bridges. If you are staying at the Casino you are within minutes of each of those spots. If you don't catch on one side of the road, move across and try the other side. Also, be sure to use any wind in your favor and fish the current spots it creates. I fish these spots in a boat throughout the Fall and generally you see people catching from shore at the same time.

One more question. Are those bridges considered to be on tribal land? If so, does the Spirit Lake Tribe have a separate and additional fishing license I would have to purchase along with a ND fishing license?

Your current ND license is all you should need.
