Throw your jigs in shallow sand when you can spot them and they don't pay attention to your jerk or other lures. also in bull rush where there is openings.

Deffinately get some bucktails, I like Apache Triple blades by Musky Frenzy. The size 10 caught me a 50.5" thick pig last fall. I like glide baits or rubber when the fishing is slow. Learn to figure 8 your baits, sometimes the fish comes from under the boat to attack!

If you fish in a lake that is stocked with tigers...throw spoons and bass spinner baits with Worm tails in weeds around 7-10' deep.

No matter what Muskies are fickle and that usually leads to buying more and more baits You can't help but wonder if you just don't have what you need when you don't move fish.
