Default Boat Cover Repair

Well, I stored my boat in the garage last winter without the cover on it and left the cover folded up in the shed. Big mistake. The mice did a number on it in a few spots and I need to get it patched up.

These are basically round holes, no bigger than 4 inches, that I will need to patch. I've trimmed the frayed edges and have purchased matching canvas to patch.

I'm looking for suggestions for a good adhesive to secure the patches. Then I will probably throw some stitches in for good measure.

I'm all ears...
