Default Ranger vs Yar craft

Are the Ranger boats very similar to the yar craft. Which one is the better walleye boat? Are they worth the extra money vs a aluminum boat?

Default Just gonna watch

Thinking this will be a good thread to answer...then sit back and watch

Personally I like Yar-craft better, but both are fantastic boats and in my opinion much better than like Tin boats...are they worth the extra cash? That can only be answered by the person making the purchase.

Ranger and Yarcraft both make very good boats.
Which boat is best for you depends on where and how you fish, and your budget.

You will get much better advice if you tell us where ang how you want to fish and how much you want to spend.

Default Ranger vs Yarcraft

I started looking at used aluminum boats 1850 crestliner sportfish or similar but after I saw the prices I thought I may as well spend the extra money for a fiberglass boat. I fish the Missouri river and the larger lakes in Minnesota but would also like to use the boat for skiing and family fun at the lake. I don't trade boats often so would like to try to make the correct choice.

You can't go wrong Ranger or Yarcraft.
I was at the Northwest Sports Show, and I was very impressed with the Skeeter MX and WX boats.
I would also look at Tuffy and Recon.
Carefully consider the layout of each and pick the one that suits your needs.
Keep in mind things like rod storage, other storage, live wells/bait wells, person/weight capacity, Trolling motors, kicker motors, mounting depth finders, etc.

Just sold a Yarcraft, bought a Ranger.

Was happy with the YC but love the Ranger.
