So you are in Allen? And you are bringing your boat? Are you going to target Musky?

It's not a problem i'm enjoying this.

Time to Wet the whistle....

Here are a couple Fall eye's boated and released during September up on Cass/Pike Bay.

The first was last year. I was guiding him when he caught that (what we thought was skinny) 29.5 incher

Second was a fat 25 I caught last Sept.

Third was this year. My dad got this 28.5 during the MWC this past Sept.

Ya, I hope so, I have a club tourney on Vermilion but that's the week before and not set in stone yet, so I should be ok

I'm just teasing Wiredog.

Musky's?
Ya, would like to toss a bit for them, kind of depends on who I can find to go, I was serious about asking HRG so I'll see what he says, and if I need one more or not, boat is big enough for three.

We get a bit further into this, maybe get people to bring stuff for a fish fry one night, nothing fancy and keep it simple.

Well I know you'd like to bring that new Larson but it is not a issue if you don't. Plenty of room in the other three boats that are confirmed.

You could do like me and do an invite for others who want to go without a boat to share a seat.

FYI HRG told me he is committed to his normal fall fishing trip but he may try and make an appearance.

Fish fry? We have to have caught fish for a fish fry and I can't have all the stress on me for catching all the fish....hehe jk

I have seen many a Musky in the morning rolling right in front of Stony Point Resorts harbor entrance.

I do however know a few spots I have seen consistent action. And the Cisco's will be spawning soon at that time of year so that makes for some solid trophy possibilities.

Sounds like fun, its been 25+ years since I have been on Cass, spent several weeks over those years at Trees Resort.

I would like to extend an invitation to any of you out there that do not have or just don't want to bring their boat with a seat in my boat. I have two spots available at the moment.

So if you would like to go and you did not want to just ask if you could tag along then here is an offer to go with us. Just pay your nightly rate, pitch in on a little fuel and bait and let's go fishin!!!!

PM me your info and that you want to take one of the seats in my boat.

I am sure there are others that will have a spot or two in their boats also to share. But I am offering up the two spots in mine.
I'll be bringing my Skeeter, so we have room for one more.
And my brother can bring his boat if needed, so anyone who needs a seat don't be shy !
I really looking forward to this trip.

pale ryder, AKA Todd.

Schweet!

I got it down on the list of people going and who is bringing a boat. Thanks for the option on another boat.

Hey Richie do you think you will be there earlier in that week ? I will most likely come up earlier . I just got off the phone with another member from Grand Rapids and he thinks he will come also. And llewellin another member from Park Rapids will most likely come. By Sept we should be able to fill that resort. A fish fry one night would be great.

Wiredog who lets Allen tease him.

The Larson will be there, and if there's room I have no problem sharing a spot.
HRG thinks he can make it, but will know for sure later.

I'm going to try and get up there the 23 and maybe get some early Musky fishing and maybe some crappies, and maybe some northern's, and maybe some walleyes, and..ah **** you get the idea.

Thanks Wiredog.
