Mississippi River Reports - Can it be Possible to sustain a thread?

Fished below lock dam 18 for a bit this morning. There was 3 or 4 boats out. Never saw anyone catch anything. I missed one bite. Water temp was 41.

Hello all I went out of hidden falls pool 2 this weekend. Saturday caught a few at the minn/missi conluence jigging a fathead. Saw a few caught there. Also caught one at the dam. Water was 38* current was mild. Went out Sunday and only snagged 1 fish. Saw a 28” get pulled over the rail by a cross the river from me. I was busy tieing knots. River had slightly less current Sunday.

Fished pool 16 today. Caught a few pulling cranks. Saw several other boats getting fish also.
