Default Trailer Bunks

I need to recarpet my bunks this spring. However, does anyone know a place you can order the bunks with the carpet already on? I believe Cabeleas has composite with carpet but they are expensive and not many size lengths available.

Thanks!

I ordered mine directly from EZ Loader http://estore.ezloader.com/subcatmfg...1=244&2=-1&6=1
but pay attention, they offer both lay-flat and on-edge styles.

Javelin,
It is fine to make pre cut bunks, but why spend the extra money.

All that you need is a piece of lumber from the lumber yard, and a few feet of carpet and staples to staple the carpet down.

Take care

I will most likely end up going that route as the shipping is what kills you on the longer 2 X 4 bunks! The shipping alone is $175.00.

Thanks!

For 125.00,I was able to get enough material to make 8 2x6 8 foot bunks.I went with Southern yellow pine,vs SPF.Could not find cypress around here.I also went with monel staples.I went with 16oz marine carpet, which was better than what the trailer came with.

I would go with 2x6 bunks if you can.

Default any trailer shop

Look in your phone book or try a google search for a trailer manufactuer near you it doesn't matter which brand. I needed the same thing a year ago and was looking for / pricing carpet to make my own. Ended up calling a trailer manufactuer not too far away looking for the right carpet and talking to the guy found out I could buy 2x8" bunks made up by them 8' long for $35 a piece. I couldn't even get the materials for that. Took them about 10min to make them up while I waited. A very happy customer!
