Default Husqvarna Augers

I just have to ask--why can't we buy one in the states? Does anyone know exactly where they are sold? I want one!

From what I have been able to find out, it is a "Distribution Agreement", to stay out of the USA with the ice auger. Too bad, it would do well.

From the Husqvarna web site you can locate several locations to get one in Manitoba, a couple near the border, several in Winnipeg.

I made some calls inquiring on cost and availability, not cheap, but available at several locations, or upon order.

Most do, but it would be far cheaper to arrange to have it picked up if one could.

MR... I was in the Stihl of Montana shop yesterday (Helena, MT) and the owner showed me his ice auger...which he'd made.
He used the power head and a few other parts off a Stihl #45 hole auger...and replaced the Stihl auger portion (for dirt) with the auger off a Lazer ice auger.
10.5 pounds....... 2 speeds fwd ..............and 1 in reverse...!

I thought of you right away... LOL

Now that's a thought!! I will have to do some investigating! Thanks, Terry and a Happy New Year! We have to hook up some time and get better acquainted. Let me know if you are ever coming East and I will do the same if I go west!!
