Had a solid day today, caught 9 keepers between 14" and 19" on leeches.

Nicely done! I was gonna try my luck with crappies on the ville but the place was a zoo and ended up planting my garden.

Another good day today, got a 24" and had 6 in the box. Gotta imagine they are biting pretty much everywhere in central Iowa.

Ha! How true. Although 3 years ago the wife nailed a 24.5 incher on Big Creek. It was a tagged fish, we sent it in and got a whole $5.

There are some hawgs in there, have heard of quite a few accounts of guys stumbling into some 8 lbers.

Yes, about 5 years ago I saw a dead 30" Walleye floating. It was right after they'd been around shocking too.

My father has a 31" from Big Creek on his wall so I know they are there......

Nice to see some central Iowa talk on here. I typically fish Brushy these days since Big Creek tends to get green.
