Wink Humminbird new for 2014??

Does anyone have any info on what Humminbird is doing for changes and upgrades for 2014? iCast has come and gone with nothing new, only some rumors about a new 1100 and 900 series unit. If they don't release at iCast when is the next major event that this could happen at? I am hoping to add another 900 series unit over the winter but want to see what if anything will be changing before I pull the trigger.

I know you cant say anything Jason, so just wink if I should hold off buying!!!

Seeing prices on the 1198 and 998s dropping quite a bit from reputable places online which is usually a sign of something new coming down the pipeline. Have not heard of any other rumors about the time frame though.

Too bad since I just ordered a 998 and 898 installed by ranger on my reata. Was strongly considering not having them put anything on at the factory and having it installed after receiving the boat. I believe I would've saved over $1000 or a little more. However the 3 year warranty by ranger for anything they install as well as realizing that the $1000 I would save gets smaller, after figuring in cost of installation by a dealership, made me change my mind.

Make sure you register for HB Select when you get the units. You get an extra year on the warranty and a super secret phone# to call for tech support

It will be interesting for sure.
I was told a couple of days ago that there will be faster processors in the 900 series. Could be in other Series as well. I was asking about the 900 series. There will be a new model in the 900 series that will allow Side Imaging sharing without being an actual side imaging unit...for example you could put this on the bow and share the console side imaging even though this model is not a side imaging unit. No touch screens...we will see. Again I was asking about the 900 Series.

Humminbird is going to be releasing in Winter of 2013 the new 1100, 900, and 800 series to the lineup. They are also discontinuing the 500 and 700 series and introducing the new 600 series. There will also be 1199 and 999 KVD Edition units.

All of these units come with updated cosmetics and faster processing speeds. The units will all be Navionics and Lakemaster compatible as well.
