Where are the fish biting better Pepin in Lake City for white bass and walleye or Sheilds Lake in Fairibault for crappies?????? Going sunday But Where ????

Definately go to the river. I've never fished there and not caught more than i would have at Shields Lake.

I was at Sheilds on the 26th and the crappies were not cooperating very well. We saw a lot of them feeding in the evening on bugs on top. Since I was in a small boat I had limited tackle and no flies or poppers for the top. Caught a 5.5 LB bass witha crappie rig though and that made the whole trip. Kids had fun and it was a beutifull evening. I was thinking of going to pepin next week also so if you go let me know how you do.
