Default Triton 186 vs Yarcraft 186 vs Ranger Angler

I am looking for a larger boat. I sold my 1625 Impact. I looked at larger Lunds and Triton's 186 Fishunter/Allure today. I will go look at Yarcraft's 186 and Ranger later.
How do these 18-19ft Glass boats compare in Ride, fishability, Performance etc?
One thing I am not fond of with the Triton 186 Fishunter are those side storage compartments that squeeze access to the rear of the boat. Very Cramped. Now the Triton Allure does not have those compartments and gi9ves you jump seats and one more floor seat base.
Have any of you fished or rode in any of these Boats?
Hopefully with actual experience in these models can respond.
Thanks

Of those three I would pick the Yar Craft, but there are also other similar boats from Skeeter, Stratos, Tuffy Warrior, and larson.
All of them are nice quality boats.
I have fished from Rangers, Yar Craft Warrior and Skeeter. And they are all great boats, only you can decide which one fits your needs best.
I suggest you look at all the websites, go to a boat show and really get a feel for the ones you like. And then test drive the 2 or 3 you might buy.
I chose the Skeeter MX 1825, because I like the layout, the price was right, and the stability and tracking are the best in the class, in my opinion.

Also, I compare boats by price, because for the price of some 18' boats you can get a 20'er from some other companies.

My vote is for the YarCraft. I am partial tho as I do run a 186 TFX. Used to run a Lund Pro V. Mine is for sale, and I will order a new one as soon as mine is sold. I get a new one every other year. If your interested give me a holler
I live here in Mountain Home where they are made.

Soul fry is Correct, the 2 baddest boats in that segment are the Lund 186 Pro V and Tyee Fiberglass and Yar Craft, both rated for 200hp and both have a killer hull design for fishing and rough water. I sell the Lunds and I will tell you you should find a 2015 at your local dealer and check them over, their amazing, trailers are made by Boatmate and with the Lundgaurd Coating you have a trailer that's welded for the hull and you can customized with Glass or Stainless Steel fenders. Price wise everyone should be pretty close, within $1000 because all of the materials are relatively the same. Who do you have for local dealers for service after the sale, what brands that is? If you have any questions 847-450-4011 I always help my WC buddy's. Brannon

I forgot about Lunds 186 Pro V GL.
Some of these new boats are too pricey for me. Saw a Lund +20 ft Aluminum Pro-V with a 300 V-rod on Special over $60,000.00.
What does the 186 Pro V GL go for?
I liked the extra seating in Triton's 186 Allure. $40K. Seats in the rear for 6. Cuts down on the size of the live well though. Fishability suffers some.
Priced one over the phone at Ken's in Wis. for under 37K.
Has anyone here fished in all of these brands in the 186?
Is there a test ride put on by all these boats somewhere?
The dealers all get together for an indoor show, why not do the show at a Lake so we can test drive them all in the Spring. I'd bet the Dealers would be certain to install the Max-sized motors.
I will probably buy a used boat to save a little $.
Thanks

I've owned two Rangers and two Yarcrafts. No experience with the tritons. Hands down, the Yarcrafts were the driest riding of the two brands. However, the Rangers had the softer ride. After talking to Rick Pierce at the MPLS boat show last week, and the good things they plan on doing with the yarcraft line, if I were to downsize from my Grady White, I would go yarcraft.
You can't go wrong with either of those two. Again, I can't speak for triton.
