Default crappies

We have cabin fever and want to plan a trip up north to do some crappie fishing, we are wanting a place that has fish houses on the water and offers some type of plan. Anyone have any ideas where you would recommend
thanks

Default RE: crappies

Probably wrong, but I believe the only lake that has houses and offers organized plans for fishing crappie is Upper Red. Most houses on LOW that I am aware of are focused on walleye. Possibly somewhere around Brainerd or Detroit Lakes?? I've heard of a rental being available on Rush lake too. Of course, all of this is assuming up north means somewhere in MN. Good luck, LB
