Two of us hit the river again last night and managed 2 legal and 2 short eyes, plus a hookup that was burning drag. Probably either a toothy critter, or a decent striper, but it managed to get unhooked, more than likely a striper.

Not a bad night. Keep up the reports and hopefully more people fishing the big d chime in. Im working 7 days a week for the next couple months so getting out will be hard, especially with deer season here. Im trying to spend as much time in the woods until the rut comes and goes. I have a few different ways to attack the winter walleye but until I make it out i will live vicariously through the reports!

Looks like there's only two of us fishing the river!
Last couple times out managed 8 eyes, with 7 being legal. Picked up a 24 3/4" and 25" as the best so far this yr.. The young guy I fish with landed a bonus 46" musky, and the other night I landed a 28" striper.
With the river being a little low, I've been donating a few extra lures to it this yr.!

Gotta post the good with the bad.
Last night I didn't get a fish, the young guy I fish with managed to land 7.
Tough fishing, and SLOW seemed to be the key.
I don't get skunked too often!

Went out today for two hours, landed 3 22,24,25. Released all of them, the 25 was a real fat female. They all hit hard and basically swallowed the lure.

That's amazing, I haven't been doing the Delaware lately cuz the places I fish have a pretty good current and with all the rain, etc. I just been hittin the North Branch where I know of eddies... I lose so much on the Delaware in them boulders
