Default Lowrance Skimmer Transducer

How tough are these transducers? I recently had mine unattach from the transom while running wide open. It banged against the transom quite a few times before I figured out what the banging was from. The transducer is not broke, and it still works, temp sensor seems right. Not sure if there is internal damage I should be worried about, or is it ok?

Thanks for the reply. It works, but does not seem to mark fish like it used to? Maybe I am just fishing in the wrong spot!
