Default 5 gallon steel gas can - $28

http://tools.woot.com/?ref=cnt_sb_tg_4

These are so much better than the crappy plastic ones with the EPA spillproof nozzles on them that are a PITA to use. This is a very cheap price on these and is only good for a few more hours.

$28 + $5 shipping. Highly recommend them.

This is at least the second time around for this Woot deal. I bought some in August and agree- these are very nice gas cans.

I expect this deal will show up again- watch for it!

I agree, a lot of the nozzles on current gas are a PITA, but give these No-Spill cans a try. The push button valve works very well.

One thing I learned about the new poly cans with automatic shutoffs- either store the cans full or loosen the cap so the can is able to breathe over the winter. Leave an empty or partly empty poly can sealed and the cold weather will cause a partial collapse, leading to cracks in the edges of the can.

Steel cans don't have that problem.

I have two of those cans HRG and they are by far better than those other PITA cans they've made us go to over the last few years.

One thing I have done on all my newer plastic cans is add a vent. It makes a world of difference. Just drill a 1/2" hole and knock in with a hammer. They work like a charm.

There are some cool vids on youtube if you want to convert a new style pour into a beter one. SOme are more complex than others but there are many options.

The no-spill ones are good. Except for the child proof cap that ratchet tight. Take a side grinder to that and eliminate it
