Default Dissapointing Numbers

Just 41 Pros fishing today at the Spring Valley, IL, FLW tournament?
Just 55 Pros at the first FLW tournament in Detroit, MI?
Just 39 Teams signed up so far for the Mobridge, SD, MWC tournament coming up?
Just 45 Pros signed up so far for AIM's first tournament at Saginaw Bay?

Last year the 41st place Pro would have cashed a check at an FLW Tour tournament.

Can the walleye circuits and the anglers that support them survive with these disappointing numbers and payouts?

Identify the problem.
Come up with a positive solution to the problem.
See that the solution is implemented in a positive, workable manner.

That is the definition and responsibility of good management...

I have a strong feeling the major problem is the current economy, a ton of people out of work, sponsors scaling back and the other costs involved to compete. Gas, meals, hotel or motel costs etc. A lot of people just don't have the funds they use to have available.

Sorry for the delay in the posting of morning photos from Spring Valley. I had a technical difficulty with my photoshop program....or more like a Vista problem....but, they are posted now.

Starting on the article now, so it will be a while. Lots of interviews to type up.

Thanks for your patience.

He's semi-retired...fishing the MWC East and a local circuit on Lake Erie...the LEWT (another team circuit).

And, it's spelled, LaCourse by the way.
