Default Speedometer

I have a Crestliner that had a 2004 e-tec on it. The speedometer was leaking water into the dash, I assume from freezing, and I unhooked the speedometer tube from the engine.
Last year I repowered with a Merc 115 4 stroke and they installed all new gauges. The speedometer was fine last year but now it leaks water like the old one. I cut the speedometer tube at the back so it is shooting water into the splashwell. Does anyone know where the tube connects on this motor or should I just pinch it off? I don't care if the speedometer works or not.
