Ranger 621 Yamaha 250 or 300 offshore ???

I have another question, the dealer says they have a 250 max hp. In most of the tournaments,
And I would be limiting my self by going with the 300.???

In Bass tournaments they do. Most of the Walleye circuits have raised their HP limit to 300. He is trying to sell you the rig on the floor.

That is what I was thinking too. Every Walleye tournament I have been in over the last couple of years state their HP limits as what the nameplate on the boat reads.

A lot of times a question is ask on here ,and by the time everyone gives there honest opinion your more confused and undecided then before.thats not the case here. Everyone basically
Said to max out your HP. That is what I have decided to do and go with the 300
