Default New Lund Impact 1675

I've just seen my boat and hope to pick it up next week. It has a Merc 90 4 stroke and the engine is mounted in the second hole. Would it run any better in the 3rd or 4th hole with the factory Black Max prop? Thanks

I get just under 41mph with a 21p prop in that setup.

Default Try it first

I would say try it first, black max props don't grab the water very good and have a tendency to blow out pretty easy, so raising the motor to far would make that even worse.

Not the same boat. My 90 4 stroke on Explorer 1600SS on 2nd hole ran the best. I tried 3rd hole, like mentioned before, blow out easy.
