If your in a pinch stop at the hardware store and pick up some wooden or plastic carpenter shims. Tap it in on the top of the ball mount. Works pretty good.

Good luck removing the rusted drawbar. I had one rusted in an older S10. I tried putting a tow strap around the ball, hooked it to a tree and put it in 4wd.... nothing budged! Then I sold the truck!

I used a metal wedge usually used to secure an ax handle to the head and "tapped" it in place, I used a larger one so half of it sticks out for easy removal. Works for up and down play not sure if it would work for the old in and out.

Curt hitch pins makes a special hitch receiver pin for taking care of your problem. It works i have one. Go on there trailer hitch web site and look under anti rattle hitch pins. I believe reese hitch pins have one also. Good luck.

I've used a silent

hitch pin by "Let's Go Aero" for several years and it works like a charm! After googling it I see you can get it without the lock also.......
