Marcum LX-3 problem

Fished half a day with no issues and all of a sudden the reading for the bottom, jig, fish, everything would move up and down 2-3' and the machine would sound like it was "bogged" down. I thought maybe the battery was bad and i pulled the one out of my lowrance ice machine to check and same problem with a full charge battery. Can anybody shed some light on this???

My 4yr old unit did the same thing. Sent it back to Marcum, got it back with a new motor and transducer. NO CHARGE! Great customer service! While it was in the shop, only 4 days, I bought a LX7. Wow, what a great unit.

Same here had a 2 yr old vs825sd camera have a button that would not work sent it in and got it back 6 days later no charge and works like it was brand new again. Marcum customer for life. The best customer service also love my lx7.

X2. Had the same thing go wrong with my 1 yr. old LX3 (2011). Quick service, motor replaced.
And then some transistor(?) went bad the following year - again, quick service. Still working out bugs? Other than reliability issues, I like it +

I had the same problem this year. Had it for a week and wouldn't hold consistent bottom and the zoom wouldn't work. I returned it for refund and got a vex Fl 18.
