I will guess fishing will win, seeing as you are on a fishing website.

I enjoy fishing more, but when the water is hard I will be in a pit. No matter what I do though, a dog makes the experience better in both.

I got hardcore into fishing and eased up on hunting because hunting was getting to be to expensive. Yeah, I'm a dumb a**.

Like the new boat, rods, reels, tackle, electronics, etc weren't that expensive.

I am hoping to drag the boat up to deer camp this year. While everyone else is out freezing in a tree, I'll be catching fresh Eyes for a deer camp fish fry.

I agree that fishing will win, but then most fishermen also hunt and vice versa so it may very well be quite close. I would respond; fishing 1st, hunting 2nd, mostly because I have a much longer fishing season than a hunting season.

Years ago I tried to do it all ... was marginally successful at any one thing.
Those were the days when I said that fishing was best through the ice ... after hunting season(s) were over.
I am sure that is because I could be dedicated to it.

Long story short ... I chose fishing over hunting.
I can put a fish back ... I can't put anything back when I hunt.

I do still harrass the deer in my yard with paint balls while they eat my landscaping .... ( oops!! Did I say that out loud? )

Wow. What a great idea. I'm off to buy me a paintball gun.

Unless you sit in one spot and wait for a fish to come to you, fishing is hunting.
