Default No Question, Access!!

Access Roll-up Cover from Agricover. Best roll up on the market. I'm on my third truck with one of these and they are durable, easy to use and look good. I love fiberglass toppers, but 95% of the time I don't need one, and like the visibility and option of putting something big in the back with having a roll up cover. My Access Roll-Up Cover also keeps the box and everything in it dry, buy a tailgate seal kit and make sure all the other holes in the box are covered or plugged and it will stay dry in the box. I have a 6 1/2' box and I have went on hunting trips with 4 guys, 4 bows and bow cases, 2 coolers, 4 ground blinds, block target and all of our clothes and other gear and have always been able to fit it all under the cover.

Topper 100%. If a reason to not get one is visibility, one should drive a VW haha! j/k, sort of I have not backed into anything since owning a truck with a topper, mirrors actually do work, hehe! And I can see around my truck on freeway and streets just fine.

Basically it comes down to what you want, not all us internet truck part salesmen Will say this, once my neighbor broke down and got sick of all his leaking Truxedo and other brands breaking and finally got a topper (something I always recommended to him) he said he wished he would have listened to me years ago! haha! Unless hauling dirt, gravel LOTS of wood or regularly an ATV or sled, then topper just plain works best (for me).

My bro simply won't get a topper, so when we take his truck we end up with wet stuff in back... or extra gear packed in back seat cause the tonneau won't fit it all. Not sure how many he has been through, but I will say this, do NOT get a Back-Flip! That is one major POS, amongst other POS's.

good luck, just having fun with my tonneau buds

I have both, I run the topper in the winter for the added weight and to keep all of my icefishing gear and shack in the truck all winter.

Come open water time the topper comes off and the cover goes on. The cover makes backing the boat up easier especially when it just the empty trailer. I have the older style cover that snaps on.

well, I finally made a decision.... I went with the Extang Solid Fold hard cover. It can be removed or installed in less than a minute and when removed stilll gives me 100 use of my truck bed ( no rails or hardware at all, attaches directly to truck bed)...I really wanted a topper but deep down I know I would end up back with something more removable than a full blown glass topper..... I got the cover for $675 delivered to my door. I had to haggle alittle to get that price but its a good deal. I ordered over the phone from truckchamps.com...Great guys to work with as I called them on 3 diff occasions this morning buggin them with questions and pricing..... When it shows up next week I will try and snap a pic and give a first impressions report... thanks for all the help, the guys on WC are always friendly and helpful!!!

here is a youtube vid of the cover if anyone else is interested....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZzcE--41Dc

I'll never have another truck without a topper again. It creats nice lockable storeage, and if you need to have something under cover, it provides more of it than the tonneau's do.

Toppers however, aren't for everyone.

Yep. If you can't see with a topper on, you really shouldn't be driving. Some folks don't realize cars these days come with these two little things on the doors, used to look behind you. Who knew, toppers even have windows in the read door so you see with your rearview on the windshield.

If you can drive your old lady's mini-van, you can drive with a topper.

I have had toppers and visablitly is fine but a topper limits you, not as much as a hard fiberglass tonno but still limits you..... With the folding hard tonno i just ordered I can still used 100% of my box deimensions with zero limitations to height...I can still protect my gear and haul just about anything I want...With a topper there is no way I am getting my atv in the back and that means trailering it all winter long! Sometimes I icefish 5 or 6 day straight when I am on 3rd shift and hauling a trailer all week would be lame.
