if you have to turn back to retrive them then they are snagged, just not lost. I call the Mo-Snagg sinkers cause they snag about 8000% more often then plain old Scheels fiftycent bottom bouncer.

If you are snagging, the primary problem is people don't fish them vertically enough. If you do, they are extremely good. Also use lighter line for the leader than the main line. If you get snagged, reverse course and try to free it frome the other side of snag.

Coupled with NO-SNAGG hooks, they are a true breakthrough thanks to Ron Lindner and Greg Bohn.

Do they snag? yes, but used correctly, they snag far less than other weighing systems used for the same purposes. Visit lindylittlejoe.com for more tips or read articles on NO-SNAGG tactics by Ted Takasaki and I.

I agree with you. I have great luck with these, staying closeer to the boat. I try "kissing" the rocks and not dragging them.
Fireline helps to feel for the bottom in deeper water.
