Question In search of an inexpensive walleye charter for next month

I live in lowville new York and my father is coming up from Pennsylvania next month (may). We are currently in search of an inexpensive charter for walleye on lake Ontario. It will be for a party of around four, possibly six. Any help would be much appreciated. Phone numbers and any information you could provide would be much appreciated as well. Thank you.

Good luck with that....

Gas prices are up and big boats use a lot of gas.
You use all their equipment.
The Captain's time and experience isn't free.

What do you consider inexpensive?

Just curious..........it might help you find a charter.

When you are looking for a charter you should look for a captain that produces not one that is cheap. I would rather spend a few $$ more and catch fish, than cut costs and go home with nothing in the cooler.

First off second what has been said on 'cheap'. Going that far I would be asking...who is the best shot at putting us on fish? I've drove hundreds of miles, many hours, motels, meals getting on fish would be my priority not who will do it cheaper.

That said, Ontario is not a big walleye lake. They do have some real pigs there on eastern end just not the numbers like you will get in many other places. Do a google for captains in the Henderson Harbor area, thats your best area of Ontario.

We weighed only 4 fish day 1 of MWC torney there in '05. 1 5#er and 3 over 10. You have a legitimate shot at 12#+ post spawn fish.
