Default jon boat

want to buy a new jon boat but not sure what make might be better than the other. 14-16 would be the length choice but not sure about width or depth. Any suggestions would be of help. Thanks

How do you plan to use it?
Hunting ducks in wild rice and cattails, etc ...then narrower is better.

Other applications... wider is better.

As for length... what kind of load are you thinking about carrying?
If same width and same model otherwise, a 16' is only a few bucks more than a 14' and you will love having more room and stability.

War Eagle makes a quality Jon boat for fishing or hunting. I bought a 754 LDV a couple of years ago and have been very happy with it.

I had an 1860 War Eagle and flat loved that boat! I also had an Xpress and was very happy with that boat.
