Default small head colors

Here are some 1/64 heads I got painted up for some fall crappies and sunfish when they begin to relate to docks and pilings. The colors are all powder paint and the only color in there that hasn't been tweaked or adjusted in the candy orange. Most of these head colors work great on walleye heads too.

The black head has fuscia glitter in it, the purple has blue glitter in it. The chartreuse is a blend of candy lime and candy yellow. The pink is a standard hot pink with a top coat of candy pink.

I'll give these a spray of uv enhancer before using them.

I don't see white. Crappies like white or pearl.

I never use white or pearl. Never found an instance where I needed either of them.

I've had best results with pink, second choice is pink.

I've done very good with that June Bug color on the gills. That's one off my favorites.

The purple you like Limit is my go to color for crappies and sunfish.

How do you guys paint your jig heads? Dip, spray, brush? Do you clear coat them?

I powder paint all of my jig heads. No clear coat on them unless I run them hot head thru a candy color after the initial dip.
