Default Looking at getting new fishfinder what are the differences, humminbird 500 700 series

Model I have mounted right now 96 humminbird wide so I think it's comparable to new 525 humminbird. Is there any reason I should look at 717 humm, 728,718, 570. Are they all same general size and mount. Looking for something that reads depth well, finds fish, easy to see on bright day. Are the older 700's worth considering $200

The 700 series units usually have higher sonar power and offer networking that the 500 series do not have at all.
