Default Covering Drain Hole

Hi ALL,

Asking this for a Club Member. I know this is for my front livewell to drain water out, but he is trying to convert this to a Cooler and don't want water to get into it. With 2 Batteries&Charger, Food&Drinks + 2 Anglers up front fishing, water do get in. How would you "Cover" it?

Isn't that the "overflow" for the livewell, not the drain? Regardless, put a plug in it on the inside of the livewell.

just like posted, get a drain plug that is the screw in type that expands the rubber to seal and do it from the inside, no issues, many have done it. Guys have even added more insulation to the coolers and I did my little boat when I redecked/carpeted it and used low expansion window foam w a halfassed form around it and loaded it up. Works good and keeps ice much longer, the lid is the weak point for escaping cold/heat
