Default Lund flip-up seat/casting deck

For all the Lund owners with the flip-up rear seat/casting deck, how do you keep it down when on the highway? By the time i get to the lake on the highway the seat is "up" I was thinking of installing a barrel latch on each side , any ideas ?

Not sure if the fold down casting deck on my Impact is similar to yours but, between the weight and how tight it is on the sides I have never had it come up in the few times I have towed it uncovered. I think your idea is a good one if the problem persists.

When towing without a cover, I just tow with it up. Always flips up at highway speeds.

On my 1625 Rebel XL the seat is always up when i get to the lake. When down there is an opening on the seat that catches air and lifts up. My buddy lost a BPS parka once when he stuffed it in the hole. The seat was down but the parka must have flown out on the highway.
