I'm not wild about the idea of driving around with $60K in cash...but bottom line, it's not something someone can scam you on...
With today scammers and printer technology it to easy to end up with counterfeit bills. And i sure would not want to mark 600 bills to see if they are not counterfeit.

I would definitely recommend a wire transfer. I sought out advice from a friend who is a banker prior to selling my boat. His advice was to go with the wire transfer for the most secure route. All the other options had potential pitfalls.

As a side note, I did get a BS text shortly after I listed my boat from a Yahoo with a Florida number stating he wanted to buy my boat full price despite the fact he couldn't come to look at my boat. He wanted to pay via Pay Pal and send a transport to pick the boat up.
