Default Lake Erie - Spring Time

I have not fished Erie in 7-8 years. Wondering if vertical jigging on the shallow reefs (parking lot) still works in late March early April or has the Zebra Mussels spoiled that technique?

If you want close and easy access to jig fishing in the Spring...launch out of Turtle Creek just West of Davis Bessie Power and go out to 10-15 feet of water just outside of the mouth of the river and set up. You can't miss all the boats but it's a blast jigging them up!.
