I've never been to one of these, but since it is fairly close, I would probably just come for the day. Are there any activity's that take place or what could I expect?

I have never been to one either. This is a new venture for me as well. At this point it is the consensus to keep this simply a guys/gals fishing weekend. Maybe some cards (Cribbage, texas hold em etc) good food and drinks and a lot of stories being told. (With lies of course)

Of course I will be showing everyone spots to fish. I will have been up there quite a bit in Sept. so I better have an idea what the pattern is and where.

You can leave your boat at home and take a seat in mine Dwight. I just need to know if you would like to do that.
Lets see, the extreme fast smooth comfortable and very dry ride of my Triton. Or the very wet backbreaking near crippling ride of your tin lizzy. OH, i think i`ll bring my boat!!! Wiredog

Have fun burning fuel as I will not have to go 1/8 of a mile to limit out and be back near a fireplace with a cold one in hand. No getting wet in my rig haha

Truth be told I will probably end up over on Pike bay so I will be going more than an 1/8 mile. But I will say I do very well off a weedy break line right in front of the resorts harbor entrance.

So far we have commitments from myself of course and

Wiredog AKA Dwight

Ayeye AKA Mike

Pale Ryder AKA ? Plus his brother

Pan Man AKA Jeff

I guess we should start a list of those bringing a boat so we can see how many open seats we have for those that would like to come and they either do not want to bring a boat or do not own one.

So far boats known to be there are.

Offthehook's boat 2 seats available

Wiredog's Triton he claims is a dry ride (not sure if he has seats open)

I don't know about the rest that have committed to going as of yet.

So please let me know if you are bringing your boat.

I'd like to get some guys coming that can share a seat and car pool.

For those that decide to stay on Cass or Pike Bay and fish I will do my best to get you ahead of the curve as to what spots are producing at that time.

Leech and Winnie are only 20 minutes to an access for those that would like to hit those lakes. There are tons of other smaller lakes in the area as well.

Like I said, I'm not used to the per-person pricing aspect. Normally, I see a "cabin" rate, and whoever wants to share that cabin splits the cost.

I like AllenW as a friend, but this could establish something new,,,,,,

There is something here I should say, but everything I could think of would get deleted.

You going to make it Terry?

Looks like a go here, I think I can find room for ya, even in the boat...

Rick, no need to spend time guiding me and HRG, GPS coordinates and bait and method will be fine, I'm sure you'll be busy trying to teach Wiredog how to fish out of a good boat.

btw thanks much for doing this Rick
