Huron on a Beautiful Day!

Fished today from noon to 7pm. What a great day to be on the water! Sunny and 40 with light winds out of the Southeast....NICE!

We caught a dozen or so fish out in front of Cranberry Creek in 34-36' of water....speed was 1.3mph.

Reef Runners 25', 32', & 41' back (Pink Lemonade, Blue/chrome, Purple Demon, Red-Headed Wonderbread were our best colors, and from the radio and all the other colors I heard, it seems to me that if a lure was in front of a fish, it ate it. I don't think color mattered as much as the lure action.)
Husky Jerks 40' & 50' back (Clear Pink with red head)
Deep Rattl'n Rouges 50' back (Black/Chrome)

All of our fish were "ghost fish". We never marked any of the fish we caught.

There was a very good bite from 10 to Noon from what we heard, and it slowed way down from noon on.
We had a real nice flurry of bites right at sundown, but when it got dark, it shut off again.

I think the lack of a moon tonight didn't help.
