Default Deep Tail Dancer vs. Deep Reef Runner

Anyone using the new Deep Tail Dancers and how do they compare to Reef Runners? Looking to buy some banana style baits to add to my arsenal, was wondering if anyone out there had any comments. Thanks

You need to have both in your arsenal, in my opinion. They impart different actions, and sometimes the fish want one over the other. Both of them are high quality lures, and since you don't have to feed them, and they will never get sick and die, you can use them for many years to come. A good investment...;)

Juls, That's what I keep telling my wife everytime I bring another dozen crankbaits home, "It's a good investment" :) I think your spouse appreciates them more than mine.

I just got off the water at Devils Lake in ND. I ran 4 lines today and caught a nice mess of fish. 10 eyes between 21 and 27 inches. Here is the break down, you decide what is better.

White husky jerk #10 2 fish, but one was the 27 incher
Perch Deep little Ripper, three fish
Mooneye (white) Reef Runner, two fish
Purple/white Deep Tail Dancer, three fish

I would have to say that both Rapala and Reef Runner make good baits. Better have a few of each to be safe.
