Have 2 frabils and just got an ego. I switched because of the smooth extention feature. Have yet to use it but can't wait.

Ego's extensions are great especially when by yourself.

I have a fabril conservation net with an extensible handle and couldn't be happier.

I have a Stowmaster TS108.
Very well made, and when folded up it fits in my boats storage, so I never forget to bring it along and I don't have to worry about losing it on the road.

I'm a Beckman fan, I have 3 but only use 1. I should be set for the next 50 years.

Ego with the non tangle net. I often fish alone.

My backup net is a Beckman, but that takes up more room in the boat, so that usually stays home, unless I am fishing a tournament.

Ego 2 tangle free with the longest extension handle for me. Used 3 seasons now and landed hundreds of fish and many by myself.

Make sure you look for the version 2 because the original one had issues with the threaded end on the retractable pole breaking off. You ended up with a pole in your hand while watching the net trail off behind your boat. New version is ok by me.
Hope this helps.
